So you’ve chosen to make the move to Dundee, the coolest little city in the UK (as said by GQ themselves). Not only is it cool, but it’s also recently rated as one of the most fun cities to live in as a student.
Being a fun, student friendly city goes hand in hand with having a great nightlife. Although the legendary Reading Rooms may have closed for good, the Dundee nightlife still has a lot to offer.
You’ll be out on the town, living your best life before you know it with this list of Dundee’s best nightclubs.
We need to start off by giving Dundee University Students Association a special shout out. Voted Scotland’s best student union, they host non-stop club nights, events and activities throughout the year.
Past events include everything from Clean Bandit, Drag Divas and Bongo’s Bingo. The rolodex of themed nights, wild raves and regular guest appearances mean DUSA will be responsible for some of your best nights as a student.
The Speedwell Bar
Moving on from the student union, welcome to the Speedwell. Affectionately known as Mennie’s by locals after its former landlady.
